This year instead of giving out gifts, Shift (Now DAN.co.nz) is donating $ to Auckland / Wellington City Mission. I was told to have fun and come out with ideas for the illustration. The teddy bear will be a symbol for a helpless and marginalized kid.

The umbrella symbolizes "Shelter & Support" and it is given by Santa Claus to the destitute and needy kids. The umbrella will spring open upon received and all the gifts that teddy wishes for Christmas will come pouring down.
